Welcome everyone to another big week on the Writer's Revolution. I am your host, the author of The Phoenix Blade, Andrew Hess. Today I have sweet seductive treat for you as I am reviewing the RA Jones Anthology: Confessions of a Sex Addict.
I was fortunate enough to grab a copy of the book when it launched several weeks ago as Hunter S. Jones was a former guest here and I was intrigued to see how this book would come together with four different writers contributing their style to the stories found inside.
Confessions of a Sex Addict takes place in New Orleans at a Sex Addicts Anonymous meeting. There are four stories in total with each being someone confessing they were a sex addict and telling their titillating tale of why they were there. Some were there in hopes of finding a way out of their non-stop sexual escapades while others were forced to go by friends, lovers and or the court.
The actual stories weren't just about people having sex and being all there was to it. No, these stories brought you into the lives of four people that had fallen into addiction and given into their deep seated desires. The stories showed you how you lose the power to control yourself when you give into your addiction, others who needed to find the right person to share in the pleasures, while another showed how easy it is to fall back into old habits.
